8. Political Contributions and Anedot

Online contributions are processed through Anedot, an independent third-party payment provider. The Committee does not directly process or store complete payment-card information submitted through Anedot.

By making a contribution, you also agree to any applicable Anedot terms, privacy practices, payment conditions, and identity-verification requirements.

Political contributions are subject to Massachusetts campaign-finance laws, contribution limits, source restrictions, disclosure requirements, and reporting requirements administered by the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance. The applicable rules may depend upon the contributor and the type of political committee receiving the contribution.

By contributing, you certify that:

  • The contribution is made from your own funds unless otherwise lawfully disclosed
  • The contribution is not being made in the name of another person
  • You are legally permitted to make the contribution
  • The contribution complies with applicable contribution limits and restrictions
  • The information you provide is accurate

Political contributions are generally not tax-deductible as charitable contributions. Consult a qualified tax professional regarding your individual circumstances.

The Committee may decline, refund, or seek additional information concerning a contribution when required for legal, reporting, compliance, or verification purposes.

9. User-Submitted Content
