Preserve Our Nation
The preservation of our Nation and the security of our citizens depend upon the Constitution, the laws, and the courts, and that respect for them is the responsibility of every individual and elected official.
Guided by principle. Committed to Dudley. Working together for a stronger tomorrow.
The purposes of the Town Committee are to:
The preservation of our Nation and the security of our citizens depend upon the Constitution, the laws, and the courts, and that respect for them is the responsibility of every individual and elected official.
Those who cannot truly provide for themselves should be assisted by both government and society, but every effort should be made to help them become self-supporting, productive citizens with pride in their independence so long as it does not violate the U.S. Constitution.
All people are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, among them Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
It is in our Nation’s best interest to promote and support strong families, commitment, responsibility, and the assurance of future generations of Americans.
The right of the individual to pursue happiness does not guarantee happiness. Individuals have the right to be themselves and pursue their dreams as long as they respect the rights of others in the process.
Equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity belong to all, regardless of race, creed, age, sex or national origin.
Basic human dignity is the right of all men, women and children. No individual or group has the right to seize the life or dignity of those who are helpless, innocent, or cannot defend or speak for themselves.
The cornerstones of our Nation are responsible citizens—individuals who take responsibility for their actions, their lives and their families.
The United States of America is our home and must always remain one unified nation of states. Efforts to destroy that unity or bring physical harm upon our nation or its citizens will be opposed.
A strong national defense allows America to negotiate from a position of strength, preserve peace, defend freedom and remain a beacon of liberty.
The most effective government is government closest to the people—and government that is least involved in how we live, worship, socialize and raise our families.
Government is accountable for maintaining sound money and a responsible economy. Individual rights, liberties and property are eroded by excessive taxation, inflation, waste and over-regulation.
The U.S. Constitution guarantees the rights of American citizens, and those rights should not be infringed by the Federal, State or Local Governments.
Our founding principles are not just history—they are a roadmap for the future.
Together, we can keep Dudley a place where families thrive and freedom endures.
